In this guide, we will walk you through the entire process of splitting in the GOLD pool.
So, you have exchanged your GOLD SPLIT tokens (GLS) and received GOLD SPLIT 1.0 tokens (GLS1) in your wallet. The first thing you need to do to work with GLS1 tokens is to ensure you have the latest version of the SMART Wallet app. If not, update the app.
Additionally, note that to receive rewards, your wallet must be activated. Don’t forget to update your wallet to the latest version and make sure you have enough SMART to complete transactions. To activate, simply transfer 0.1 SMART to your wallet. We recommend having up to 10,000 SMART to perform operations with SPLIT tokens. Also, note that connected two-factor authentication will be required for withdrawing tokens.
Step 1. Freezing GOLD SPLIT 1.0 (GLS1) tokens
Select the GOLD SPLIT 1.0 token in your wallet:
The screen will display detailed information about your balance and transaction history.
To participate in splitting, you first need to freeze the GLS1 tokens.
Let’s begin the preparation process for splitting GLS1. Click the “Freeze” button:
On the opened screen, you will see your available balance for freezing and the total amount of frozen tokens in your wallet:
To freeze the tokens, click the “Freeze” button. On the next screen, you’ll be prompted to enter the amount of tokens to freeze. Enter the desired amount and click the “Confirm” button:
Next, you will need to confirm the action with your PIN code:
If everything is correct, you will see a congratulatory screen indicating that the tokens were successfully frozen:
Step 2. Requesting rewards for frozen tokens
Now, let’s talk about how to request your reward.
Select the GLS1 token and click the “Splitting” button — located just below your balance:
Please note that splitting requires SMART coins on your balance — they are needed to pay for the execution of the smart contract. If you don’t have enough SMART coins, you will be prompted to top up your balance:
If there are enough coins, a window will appear with the current splitting status.
On this screen, the following information will be available:
“My frozen GOLD SPLITS 1.0” — the number of frozen GLS1 tokens in your balance;
“Total frozen GOLD SPLITS 1.0” — the total amount of frozen GLS1 tokens in the blockchain;
“Daily reward” — the daily amount of ULTIMA tokens distributed among users who have frozen GLS1 tokens;
“Current block” — the current block in the blockchain;
“Final block” — shows the last block for the current halving period;
“My estimated reward” — an approximate amount of the reward for all splits that can participate in the splitting.
Please note that the first reward can be requested 24 hours after freezing.
Once this time has passed, click the “Claim Reward” button to request a reward from the pool:
A confirmation screen will open.
Please note that if you are using SMART Defender, you will need to hold your card near the smartphone to request the reward.
Check the box confirming that you agree to the product terms of use and click the “Confirm” button.
That’s it! You have successfully requested your reward:
Just click “OK," and a transaction details screen will open, where you can see your reward!
Important rule: before you start the freezing process, please note that any action to freeze or unfreeze GOLD SPLIT 1.0 tokens will reset the reward waiting time in your wallet’s splitting.
The reward waiting time is 24 hours. For example, if you claimed a reward 20 hours ago and had 4 hours left until the next reward, freezing or unfreezing GLS1 will reset the waiting time to 24 hours. Therefore, we recommend claiming your reward first, and then freezing the tokens.
