We are introducing a new product in the Ultima ecosystem – the Ultima Energy resource market, where you can buy and sell key resources of the Ultima Chain blockchain: Energy and Bandwidth. The market is available at the following link: https://ultima.energy
Let’s review how these resources are used.
- Energy acts as the fuel for smart contracts. It is necessary for splitting, token transactions, and other blockchain operations.
- Bandwidth is essential for all transactions on the network. If you have Bandwidth, ULTIMA fees are not deducted for transactions.
This guide will walk you through the entire process of using the resource market.
How to Connect Your Wallet to Ultima Energy
First, you need to connect your wallet to the market. This wallet will be used to receive purchased resources and to get ULTIMA rewards from selling resources.
To connect, click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top-right corner of the screen:
Open the SMART Wallet, select the ULTIMA coin, and copy your wallet address used to receive the coin.
Return to the market, paste your wallet address into the pop-up window, and click "Connect Wallet":
Once the connection is successful, your wallet address will be displayed in the top-right corner of the screen:
How to Buy Energy on the Market
Now, let’s buy resources. Go to the "Buy Resources" tab:
Select Energy:
Enter the amount of energy you want to buy or specify the amount of ULTIMA you want to spend. Please note that there is a minimum and maximum purchase limit for Energy. This limit is dynamic and changes depending on the amount of staked ULTIMA in the blockchain.
Note that resources are sold for a limited period: currently, purchases are available for 1 day.
Review the amount of Energy you will get and the total cost. If everything is correct, check the box to agree to the terms, and click “Purchase Resource”:
In the pop-up window, enter your email address, which is required in case you need to request a refund. Click “Confirm Purchase”:
The next page will display the amount of ULTIMA to be paid and the wallet address where you should send the payment. The wallet address will be available as a QR code for transaction processing via a mobile app.
Send the specified ULTIMA amount to the provided wallet address.
After payment, you will be redirected to the resource market, where you can view your order details in “My Orders.”
On this page, you will find information such as:
- order number and date;
- resource type;
- resource duration;
- resource amount;
- current amount;
- amount paid in ULTIMA;
- transaction hash;
- transaction status.
"Resource Amount" shows how many units of the resource you received at the time of payment, while "Current Amount" reflects the remaining balance at the time, which may fluctuate based on the total staked ULTIMA coins in the blockchain.
How to Buy Bandwidth on the Market
Select Bandwidth from the resource selection tab:
Enter the amount of Bandwidth you want to buy or specify the amount of ULTIMA you want to spend. Please note that there is a minimum and maximum purchase limit for Bandwidth. This limit is dynamic and changes depending on the amount of staked ULTIMA in the blockchain.

How to Sell Energy on the Market
Go to the "Sell Resources" tab:
Select the resource you want to sell. Currently, only Energy is available for sale.
Enter the amount of energy you want to sell:
The minimum selling limit is 3,000,000 Energy units.
Note that currently, Energy can only be sold for a 30-day duration.
Specify the Energy amount and click "Sell Resource":
A QR code will be generated, which you need to scan using SMART Wallet to complete the delegation process:
Open SMART Wallet, go to the “QR Scan” section, and scan the generated code. A screen will appear, where you need to confirm delegation. Verify the amount and press “Confirm”:
Once confirmed, you will receive a message indicating that the delegation was successful:
After a few minutes, you’ll see another message on the market, indicating that the sale process is complete:
You can check transaction details in the "My Orders" section:
In the "Payout" column, you will see your reward in ULTIMA for selling the resource. This amount will be credited directly to your wallet.
Done! You have successfully sold Energy and received ULTIMA in your wallet.
Please note that currently, only Energy can be sold on the market.
