We’re introducing the new pool in the Ultima ecosystem — the Ultima Pool. This is the first pool in the history of our product where participants can earn new ULTIMA tokens as rewards by freezing their ULTIMA tokens. No license or contract is required to participate in the pool; simply freeze your ULTIMA tokens in the SMART Wallet with just a few clicks.

Rewards are calculated using a simple formula: the daily reward is divided by the total number of tokens frozen in the pool. The resulting value is then multiplied by the number of tokens frozen by the user. A total of 5 ULTIMA will be distributed daily as a reward in the pool.

In this guide, we will show you how to freeze ULTIMA in the Ultima Pool, unfreeze them, and start receiving daily rewards.

Freezing Tokens

Before starting the freezing process, please note an important rule: any action involving the freezing or unfreezing of Ultima tokens resets the reward waiting time in splitting, which is 24 hours. For example, if you received a reward 20 hours ago and had 4 hours left until the next reward, freezing or unfreezing Ultima will reset the waiting period, and it will be 24 hours again.

Open your SMART Wallet and click on the ULTIMA icon. In the window that appears, click on the freeze icon shaped like a snowflake:

On the screen that opens, you will see your available balance for freezing (Available Balance) and the total number of frozen tokens (Total Frozen Balance):

To freeze tokens, click the Freeze button. The freezing process occurs in two stages: first, you prepare ULTIMA, and then the freezing itself takes place.

On the next screen that opens, click Prepare ULTIMA:

You will then be prompted to enter the number of tokens to freeze. Enter the desired amount and click the Prepare for Freezing button:

Next, you will need to confirm the action with your PIN code:

In the window that opens, confirm the freezing by clicking Confirm Freezing:

After this, you will need to confirm the action again by entering your PIN code, using Face ID, or tapping your SMART Defender against your smartphone. If everything is done correctly, you will see a congratulatory screen indicating that the tokens were successfully frozen:

Unfreezing Tokens

You will be able to unfreeze your tokens after the end of the freezing period. To do this, return to the freezing menu. At the bottom of the screen, click the Unfreeze button:

On the screen that opens, enter the amount you want to unfreeze and click Confirm:

On the next screen, confirm the unfreezing by clicking the Unfreeze button:

Confirm the action with your PIN code. After this, you will see a screen indicating that the process was successful:

How Do You Request Rewards for Frozen ULTIMA?

While your tokens remain frozen, you can receive daily rewards. To claim your reward, you need to request it. To do this, on the main screen of the SMART Wallet, click on the ULTIMA icon. In the window that opens, click the SPLITTING 3.0 button:

A screen will open containing detailed information about the splitting:

MY FROZEN ULTIMA — the number of frozen ULTIMA tokens in your balance;

TOTAL FROZEN ULTIMA — the total number of frozen ULTIMA tokens in the pool;

DAILY REWARD — the daily amount of ULTIMA tokens distributed among pool participants;

CURRENT BLOCK — the current block in the blockchain;

FINAL BLOCK — the last block for the current halving period;

MY ESTIMATED REWARD — the estimated reward amount for all your frozen ULTIMA;

PRICE PER 1 FROZEN — the reward amount per 1 frozen ULTIMA.

Click the Claim Reward button at the bottom of the screen:

A screen will open where you need to confirm your agreement with the product terms by checking the box and clicking the Confirm button:

Done! You have requested your reward. You will see a confirmation message on your smartphone screen:

Please note that if you use SMART Defender, you will need to tap your card against your smartphone to request the reward.

Also, be aware that splitting incurs a fee in SMART, so before making transactions, ensure you have enough SMART coins in your balance.
