In this guide, we will demonstrate the entire process of splitting in the VIP pool.
The first thing you need to do to work with SPLIT is to make sure you have the latest version of the SMART Wallet app, and if not, update the app. To do this, go to the app store, type SMART Wallet in the search bar, and click on the Update button.
Before you start working with the pool, please note a few important points:
- Any action to freeze or unfreeze VIP SPLIT tokens will reset the waiting time for previously frozen VIP SPLIT tokens on the wallet from which the payment was made. The waiting time is 24 hours. For example, if you received a reward 20 hours ago and had 4 hours left until the next one, but then freeze or unfreeze VIP SPLIT tokens, the reward waiting time will reset to 24 hours.
- Following from the previous point, an important rule is: before freezing tokens, make sure to claim your reward.
Also, note that your wallet must be activated to receive rewards. To activate the wallet, you must have SMART coins in your balance. A single coin is enough for activation, however, for a successful split we recommend having a sufficient supply of SMART coins, as they are needed to fulfill the split contract.
So, make sure your app is updated and you have SMART coins in your balance and open your wallet.
In this guide, we explain splitting in the VIP pool, so you need to select the VIP SPLIT token:
A screen will open with detailed information about your balance and transaction history.
To participate in splitting, you first need to freeze SPLIT tokens. Before starting the freezing process, please note an important rule: any action involving the freezing or unfreezing of Ultima tokens resets the reward waiting time in splitting, which is 24 hours. For example, if you received a reward 20 hours ago and had 4 hours left until the next reward, freezing or unfreezing Ultima will reset the waiting period to 24 hours.
Now, let's proceed with the preparation for splitting in the VIP pool. Click on the freeze icon:
On the screen that opens, you will see your available balance for freezing (Available Balance) and the total amount of frozen tokens (Total Frozen Balance):
To freeze tokens, click the Freeze button. On the next screen that opens, you will be prompted to enter the number of tokens to freeze. Enter the desired amount and click the Confirm button:
Next, you need to verify the amount to be frozen and confirm the action by clicking the Freeze button:
You will then need to confirm the action with your PIN code:
If everything is done correctly, you will see a congratulatory screen indicating that the tokens were successfully frozen:
Unfreezing Tokens
You can unfreeze tokens 10 minutes after freezing. To do this, return to the freezing menu. At the bottom of the screen, click the Unfreeze button.
On the screen that opens, enter the amount you want to unfreeze and click Unfreeze:
On the next screen, verify the amount and confirm the unfreezing by clicking the Unfreeze button:
Confirm the action with your PIN code. After this, you will see a screen indicating that the process was successful:
Now let's talk about how to request rewards.
Go to VIP SPLIT and click the Splitting button — it’s located just below your balance:
Please note that splitting requires SMART coins in your balance — they are necessary to pay for executing the split contract. If you don't have enough SMART coins, you will be prompted to top up your balance:
If you have enough coins, a window will open with information on the current status of splitting.
On the screen that opens, you will see the following information:
MY FROZEN SPLITS — the number of frozen SPLIT tokens in your balance;
TOTAL FROZEN SPLITS — the total number of frozen SPLIT tokens in the blockchain;
DAILY REWARD — the daily amount of Ultima tokens distributed among users who have frozen SPLIT tokens;
POOL SUPPLY – the amount of ULTIMA in the pool;
Current block — shows the current block in the blockchain;
Final block — shows the last block for the current halving period;
MY ESTIMATED REWARD — the estimated reward for all splits that can participate in splitting
Please note that if you froze tokens less than 24 hours ago, you won’t be able to request a reward.
To find out which tokens are ready for splitting, go to the SPLIT Details section by clicking on MY FROZEN SPLITS. You will see which tokens are ready to receive rewards and which are not.
Of course, you can request the reward, but it will only be credited to those SPLITs that are more than 24 hours old. After the reward is claimed, the age of all split tokens will be reset.
Once you’ve confirmed that all tokens are ready, return to the Splitting section by clicking the arrow in the upper left corner of the screen, and click the Claim Reward button to request the reward from the blockchain:
A confirmation screen will appear.
Please note that if you use SMART Defender, you will need to tap the card against your smartphone to request the reward.
Also, be aware that splitting incurs a fee in SMART, so before making transactions, ensure you have enough SMART coins in your balance.
So, make sure your wallet has enough SMART coins, check the box confirming that you agree with the product’s terms of use, and click the Confirm button.
Done! You have successfully requested your reward:
Just click the OK button, and the ULTIMA token screen will open — where you can see your reward!
