Google 2FA is the main method of two-factor authentication in Smart Pass. It is a convenient authentication method that complies with international security standards. In order to make payouts in our products, it is necessary to set up a Google 2FA first.

In this tutorial, we will understand how to connect Google 2FA as a two-factor authentication method.

So, go to Smart Pass and go to the Security section.

Download Google Authenticator on your smartphone. To use the authenticator, you need to scan the QR code on the right side of the screen with the installed mobile app. To do this, go to the app. On the first screen, tap the Get started button.

Then select Scan a QR code in the window that opens.

Scan the QR code on the activation page and click Continue.

After that, your smartphone will display a line with a one-time password in the Google Authenticator app, which is updated over time. The time remaining for the code validity is displayed on the right side as as a pie chart.

Enter the one-time password on the 2FA confirmation page.

Done! You have set up Google 2FA!

Please be aware that the QR code on the activation page is confidential and should not be shared or displayed with anyone else. In case you need to deactivate Google two-factor authentication (e.g. if you change your smartphone), please contact our support team.

We strongly advise you to activate Google 2FA without any delay, as your security when using Ultima products depends on it!
